The Hawking PN612 is a 56Kbps V.90 Data/Fax PCMCIA FAX/Modem
designed for your laptop or notebook computer. The software is
fully upgradeable and supports the latest 56K V.90/56K. This PCMCIA
Modem offers the potential for downloading speeds up to 56Kbps over
ordinary phone lines. By allowing downstream speeds of up to 56Kbps
from an Internet Service Provider (ISP), the delivery of Internet
information is dramatically faster. Graphic intensive Web pages,
audio and video files are now capable of downloading at nearly
twice the Modem rate than previously available. The simple plug-n-
play installation will get you online immediately. Hawking's 56Kbps
PCMCIA Fax Modem is fully compatible with Windows 95/98/2000/ME. In
addition, the PN612 s low power consumption will help preserve the
life of your battery. Furthermore, the high-speed data transmission
rates will save time, telephone costs and connection charges as you
access the Internet.
