The HighPoint RocketRAID 2224 is a high performance PCI-X to SATA II
HBA. The RocketRAID 2224 supports key features with hot-swap and
hot-spare that are critical to ensuring business continuity.
The HighPoint RocketRAID 2224 Controller offers 4 internal ports
that combine high performance storage connectivity of Serial ATA
with HighPoints advanced RAID features, including, Online Capacity
Expansion, RAID Level Migration and HighPoints RAID Management
software.
The RocketRAID 2224 also features an external Infiniband connection
that is a highly reliable locking cable connector that combines
four SATA ports into one on the controller side.
Supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and JBOD, plus disk hot plug,
hot swap and HighPoints RAID features, the RocketRAID 2224 is an
ideal solution for applications where high levels of sustained read
and write performance are required, including video streaming, web
content, reference data and fixed content storage.
HighPoints intuitive browser based and graphical RAID utilities
simplify RAID storage management. Storage can be configured and
monitored remotely from a single workstation providing convenience
and flexibility, ensuring 24x7 data accessibility.
HighPoint offers the broadest range of support for all major
operating systems to ensure OS and hardware server compatibility.
Drivers are available for all major operating systems, including
Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OS X.
The HighPoint X4 external storage enclosure is compatible with the
