Based on the Intel E7520 chipset and supporting dual-channel DDR2
400 SDRAM, the Intel Server Board SE7520BD2 provides a powerful
processing foundation in its support for dual 64-bit Intel Xeon
processors with an 800MHz system bus. The board also features up to
six independent PCI buses supporting not only PCI and PCI-X but
also next-generation PCI Express I/O interconnect technology. Dual
memory-channel architecture with eight DIMM sockets and memory
sparing and mirroring further strengthen the boards support for
high-performance memory. In addition, for powerful networking and
storage the board has two integrated Gigabit Ethernet connections
and provides options for single- or dual-channel Ultra320 SCSI
supporting RAID 0 and 1.
For organizations requiring multifunctional server-management
capabilities, the Intel Server Board SE7520BD2 supports the Intel
Server Management 8 suite of software, hardware, and utilities.
This technology, which includes onboard platform instrumentation
and optional Intel Management Module upgrades, can help businesses
